Selected for Honorable Mention for their design, creativity, and narrative skills.
The new UNESCO Director-General’s Report on Safety of Journalists and the Danger of Impunity served as the basis for the infographics. Designers were tasked to visualize the data of the report in an educative manner yet enables easy sharing on social media The high amount of submissions clearly shows that the issues of impunity and safety of journalists which are crucial to the fundamental human rights of freedom of expression are issues close to many people.
